Bogdan was running a $1.5M creative agency and still getting pulled back into the firefight week after week. Here's where he started and where he is now.
Where Bogdan was
- $140K MRR
- Delivery pulled Bogdan back into the weeds
- Didn't know what to fix first in operations
- Lack of operational knowledge
- The creative team was too slow
- No effective comms between CEO and COO
Where Bogdan is now
- $300K MRR, up from $140K in under a year
- 3X faster onboarding
- 10+ hours a week freed for the founder
- A team that runs without constant oversight, 50% fewer daily check-ins
- Higher performance across the agency
- 25-40% lift in output per head
- Decisions made in hours, not weeks
Fragile under the hood

We met Bogdan and his co-founder Lorenzo at a mastermind retreat in the Dominican Republic. His agency was growing fast. $1.5M in revenue, high-performing creative work, clients in the eCom and SaaS space. But under the hood, things felt more fragile than they looked.
"Romans and Kristina don't bullsh*t you. They say what they think is true, and how they believe things actually work. I believe this is extremely valuable."
It was his first business. His first time as a founder. And like a lot of agency owners, Bogdan wasn't struggling because things were broken. He was struggling because he didn't know what he didn't know.
He had questions he couldn't answer:
- Is this a people problem or a system problem?
- Why do the same issues keep resurfacing?
- Am I missing something obvious, and what's it costing me?
That uncertainty created friction everywhere, from decision-making to team performance to day-to-day stress.
"I just wanted to do a great job. But sometimes, you don't even know what 'great' actually looks like."
The catalyst
Talking to other agency founders, the ones further ahead, Bogdan started noticing a pattern. The founders running 8-figure shops weren't winging it. They were thinking deeply about operations and surrounding themselves with people who could show them their blind spots. They were investing in structure.
That was the wake-up moment. If he wanted to build something lasting, he couldn't keep operating on instinct. He needed outside perspective, a clear framework, and someone to help him build it inside his actual business.
The Delivery and Ops Engine

We deployed two core pieces of our framework. The first was a Delivery and Ops Engine restructure. We rebuilt the agency's internal architecture around three questions:
- What exactly are we delivering?
- What does "good" look like at each stage?
- Who owns what, and how are they being measured?
"It wasn't a DIY solution. It wasn't a course. It was do-it-with-you, inside the business. That made all the difference."
We mapped the full service workflow, defined ownership at each handoff, and built systems that connected delivery to role clarity, and role clarity to performance. From there, we rebuilt onboarding, revamped how work moved through the team, and introduced performance reviews grounded in real KPIs, not vague sentiment.
The Founder Sift
The second piece was the Founder Sift. It's a guided 1:1 coaching process we use to help founders surface blind spots and separate noise from real constraint. It usually creates a lot of clarity on the actual business priorities.
For Bogdan, this created space. He stopped circling operational decisions. He knew what to look at, what to ignore, and what to fix. He and his co-founder started operating with shared visibility and real alignment, weekly, not reactively.
"Clarity. That's the biggest before and after. I didn't know what I was missing. Now I have a clear picture and the doubts are gone."
Results
What changed was how Bogdan operated, internally and externally. The transformation wasn't only visible inside the business. It directly improved how the agency performs and scales. By restructuring the Delivery and Ops Engine and running the Founder Sift, Bogdan and his team gained both the clarity and the systems to grow with confidence.
- Went from $140K to $300K MRR in under a year.
- 3X faster onboarding. New hires became productive within weeks instead of months, reducing the load on senior staff and accelerating delivery.
- 10+ hours a week freed for the founder. With the mental fog cleared and operations systematised, Bogdan shifted from reactive management to confident leadership, with more energy for growth and strategy.
- A team that runs without constant oversight, 50% fewer daily check-ins. With clear responsibilities and KPIs, alignment stopped depending on Bogdan's presence, freeing him from micromanagement and giving the team autonomy to deliver.
- Higher performance across the agency. KPI-linked reviews created accountability, raised standards, and turned performance management into a growth driver rather than an afterthought.
- 25-40% lift in output per head. Improved client retention stabilised recurring income and gave the agency confidence to scale without fear of churn undermining growth.
- Decisions made in hours, not weeks. Weekly founder reviews cut down indecision and drift, letting opportunities get seized quickly and problems get resolved before they escalated.
"I stopped wondering if I was missing something. Now I know what matters and what doesn't. That changes how I lead."
